Underneath the gear and behind the mask, Kim Cummings is not your typical welder. For starters, she is a mother of three who, at 43 years old, retrained to work in a man’s world. Kim completed the Fast-Track Welding program at Washburn Tech. After working in the field, she returned to the classroom and excelled as an instructor.
