Why Do You Teach Tech Ed?

I teach cabinetmaking and millwork in technical education because it allows me to pass on my passion and knowledge to a large group of like-minded people.  Working within the technical education field I interact with high school as well as post-secondary individuals.  This is a unique opportunity that I embrace. My true passion is working with my hands and teaching others the skills needed in the technical field of cabinetmaking. The one thing I seem to consistently find about students is when they find something that they are truly passionate about they become better at all other things.
