Washburn Tech East

Washburn Tech classes are underway in the East Topeka community! Despite construction delays at the new Washburn Tech East facility, located at 2014 SE Washington St., Washburn Tech has set-up temporary classrooms in the Antioch Family Life Center at 1921 SE Indiana Ave.

We offer training in health care, construction trades, CDL and the General Education Diploma (GED). We also offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. This project is a joint effort involving Washburn Tech, Washburn University, GO Topeka and JEDO and is operating in partnership with the East Topeka community.

• Construction trades include Building Technology
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training

Opportunities at Washburn Tech East

Washburn Tech East offers the career programs listed below as well as GED and ESL classes. Check-out our Fast Facts sheet for more information. All career pathways are included in the Accelerating Opportunity: Kansas program (AO-K) which is for students who are receiving both their GED and technical training. Costs are greated reduced for AO-K participants. For students who already have their high school diploma, financial assistance is available.
