Each year, two students are chosen to receive the Outstanding Student Award. This honor is based on their overall outstanding performance at Washburn Tech. Students are nominated by their instructor and are chosen based on attendance, academic achievement, an essay and a personal interview. Outstanding Student Award recipients receive a $500 cash award in recognition of their accomplishment.
