You will learn the basics of sewing and make a small craft or apparel item.
This is a continuation of the Basic Sewing session. Projects to be determined.
Learn how to put in a zipper and different types of seams, plus learn to read patterns and more. You will be sewing a project to take home in this session.
This is a more advanced sewing class which teaches you how to recycle existing textiles/clothing and fabricate them into bags, skirts and other items.
In this class you will learn how to do basic patchwork. You will master the ¼” seam and rotary cutting. Once you learn the basics you will be able to do most simple patchwork quilt blocks. You will end the session with a baby or lap size quilt.
This class will teach you intermediate patchwork skills. We will be creating new blocks so that you will be learning new techniques while creating blocks for a sampler quilt. (Prerequisite; you must have taken introduction to Patchwork & Quilting or get the approval of the instructor.)
